Toucans Tiki Lounge and Cabaret 

  • The city's longest running drag show with different theme nights such as Latin Fever Monday, Neon Thursday and many more!

Joshua Tree National Park

  • 37-48 miles (north/main versus south entrance)
  • Joshua Tree is the high desert so it has the desert heat but high elevations. It can be chilly in the morning 
  • The visitors center at the main entrance (north of Kitty Hawk House) has an exhibit, maps, and helpful guidance on driving or walking tours 
  • Make sure to bring enough water and cell service is often limited

Palm Springs Air Museum

  • One of the top air museums in the country!
  • Multiple hangers with restored aircraft - many of which can still fly!

Palm Springs Art Museum

  • Extensive permanent collection
  • Special exhibits and temporary installations of modern artwork and architecture
  • Check out the 'moving' babies exhibit in front of the museum before they skip town in 2020

Palm Springs Aerial Tramway

  • Ride to the top of Mt. San Jacinto on the world’s largest rotating tram car
  • Two restaurants are at the top - the pines cafe offers a 'ride and dine' ticket for the tram ride and dinner at a reduced rate
