The Beaches

Sealodge Beach
A private beach in your own backyard! A short 1/2 mile hike (wear good shoes) down the hill side brings you through the forest and over some lava formations to a secluded beach with excellent snorkeling.

Hanalei Bay
Spectacular views! There's a reason this beach is world famous! You can watch sailboats and surfers or marvel at the waterfalls streaming down the mountain. This beach has a life guard during the summer season and is fairly protected from currents or rough surf.

Poipu Beach

Head to the South Shore of Kauai and see why the Travel Channel once named Poipu Beach "America's Best Beach". Nestled in the Poipu resort area, this beach is conveniently located near some of Kauai's best shopping, dining, and golf. This is one of the most popular and safest beaches on the island.

Sightseeing and Attractions

These are some things you don't wanna miss!

Waimea Canyon "The Grand Canyon of the Pacific"
This is unlike anything you will encounter anything in Hawaii. The Waimea Canyon Lookout provides panoramic views of crested buttes, rugged crags, and deep valley gorges. Stretching 14 miles long, the grand inland vistas go on for miles.

Koloa Landing
Amazing sealife in this river delta! Great for snorkeling or diving. We always see multiple turtles, lots of different kids of fish, and beautiful coral. Often popular on nice visibility days, but it is usually possible to get parking!

HIKES

Kalalau Trail
Don't miss out on hiking the Kalalau trail, it is really amazing! It is the first part of the NaPali Coast hike; it does require a day pass to park/hike or ride the shuttle and hike. Be prepared with good footwear and maybe trekking poles!

Sealodge Beach

The jungle walk/hike to the beach from the condo is also well worth it to see the beautiful secluded beach! Lots of opportunities to snorkel and see turtles too!

Queens Bath
This pretty not too-long serious hike is located in Princeville, and ends at a neat ocean water feature!

Waimea Canyon Cliff and Canyon Trail  - "The Grand Canyon of the Pacific"
This is unlike anything you will encounter anything in Hawaii. The Waimea Canyon Lookout provides panoramic views of crested buttes, rugged crags, and deep valley gorges. Stretching 14 miles long, the grand inland vistas go on for miles. Great waterfall views!

Sleeping Giant
Located on the East Side of the island (Kappa). Great views of the fields and coastline, a fairly well maintained trail.

Mahogany Forest

Easy and partially shaded hike to a stone dam through the mahogany forests near the Princeville chocolate farm.
